There are no 'useless' parts, every single part has a specific function.

Because the devices are using basic electronic parts that are usually found inside a microchip.

What kind of basic electronic parts are used in your designs?

Nothing but resistors, transistors, diodes and L.E.D.s.

How can you set the time since there are no apparent controls on the artistic devices?

To keep the artistic look elegant and simple with no apparent buttons, these creations use internal magnetic switches, activated by placing an elegant handcrafted magnetic knob on the glass surface.
